  • Bridge Financing

    • Companies in need of short-term financing for as little as 30 days up to a period of three years may qualify for bridge loans. These are typically structured as interest-only loans or interest plus an appropriate amortization period. A wide variety of types of projects will potentially qualify, and loan amounts can start at $1 million and can go as high as $20 million.

  • SBA 7a Financing

    • The 7(a) Loan Program is SBA’s primary program for helping start-up and existing small businesses, with financing guaranteed for a variety of general business purposes. SBA provides loans to businesses; so the requirements of eligibility are based on specific aspects of the business and its principals. As such, the key factors of eligibility are based on what the business does to receive its income, the character of its ownership and where the business operates.

  • SBA 504 Financing

    • Small Business Administration 504 Loan or Certified Development Company program is designed to provide financing for the purchase of fixed assets, typically commercial real estate, buildings and equipment at below market rates.The 504 program works by distributing the loan among three parties. The business owner puts up a minimum of 10%, a lender puts up 50%, and a so-called Certified Development Company (CDC) puts up the remaining 40%. Certified Development Companies are established under the 504 code as non-profit corporations set up to support economic growth in their local areas. There are a few hundred such CDCs nationwide. The maximum amount of the loan is $5 million and $5.5 million for manufacturers (and some energy-related policy goals) and if the borrower defaults, the private sector lender is paid off first, reducing the risk to the lender and encouraging loans.
